业务发展专员

业务发展专员有4方面职责:

•确认新销售机会

•跟进产品和服务

•与客户签订协议

•维护已有客户关系

订单开始后,每天工作包括:

•在线研究组织和个人(尤其是社交媒体),以确定新机会和潜在新市场

•研究其他公司的需求和购买决策者

•通过电子邮件或电话与潜在客户联系,建立融洽关系并召开会议

•计划和监督新的营销活动

•参加会议,发布会和其他行业活动

其他代表性的销售义务包括:

PPT演讲和销售显示

•联系告知客户公司产品的新进展

•与英国团队合作提出报价和建议

•通过电话、邮件和上门与客户沟通再沟通

保持与客户良好的关系,主要以社交活动为主,包括简单的电话聊天,午餐和活动或会议,业务发展经理应确保取悦客户。当然,作为办公室工作,文档工作也是一部分。业务发展专员也有义务书面报告,并提供反馈给上层管理者在进行或未进行中的工作。

Business Development Executive

 

The business development professional has four primary responsibilities:

·         Identifying new sales leads

·         Pitching products and/or services

·         Closing agreements with clients

·         Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers

 

When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:

·         Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets

·         Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing

·         Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings

·         Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

·         Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

 

Other typical Sales duties include:

·         Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays

·         Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products

·         Developing quotes and proposals in conjunctions with the UK team

·         Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person

 

To keep healthy relationships with clients, this mostly requires socialisation. Including simple chats on the phone to lunches and events or conferences, the  business development managers must be sure to keep their customers happy. Of course, as with all office jobs, documentation is also a big part of the work. Business development professionals are also obligated to write reports and provide feedback to upper management about what is and is not working.
