Project Manager, Hangzhou China
We are seeking a Project Manager to work as part of the CBBC team in the Hangzhou Office. We are looking for confident and energetic team player, with real business experience and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality research and trade services events to UK businesses in China.
Main responsibilities:
- Understanding customer requirements and managing customer relationships
- Proactively engaging with partners to deliver value added services to clients
- Working with UK business and CBBC partners to deliver quality research projects
- Identifying business partners, distributors, end users and competitors in South-East China
- Assisting clients in creating business strategies for China
- Organising seminars, receptions and other events on behalf of a variety of UK
based clients.
- Analysing market intelligence on a range of industry sectors.
- Coaching Project Executives to deliver high quality reports and services
- Compiling in-depth market reports.

- Providing logistical arrangements for meetings.
- Maintain relationships with government departments and agencies and industry contacts.
Requirements:
- University graduate.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- At least 4/5 years relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software.

Quality Inspector – INTERVENE Ltd, Hangzhou

ROLE PROFILE

Title: Quality Inspector
Reporting to: Technical Manager
Location: Hangzhou, China
Summary Responsibility for carrying out quality inspections to ensure the implementation and compliance of the Company’s Quality Procedures.
Role:
The role is based in Hangzhou but requires travelling to other manufacturing sites in China.
The duties of this role include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring adherence of 3rd party manufacturers to INTERVENE’s stated Quality Procedures;
• The performance of specific test measurements on a range of products to ensure manufacturing has been carried out to given specifications;
• The implementation and monitoring of manufacturers’ quality inspections at sites of manufacture;
• Implementation and execution of an audit plan for manufacturing sites in China;
• The auditing of quality inspections at sites of manufacture;
• Reporting on quality inspections and providing quality inspection reports for incorporation into the Company’s Quality Management System.
• Close liaison with the staff at ITI (Shanghai)*, particularly with production scheduling and planning;
• Assistance for colleagues in the fulfilment of B2B orders and the maintenance of B2B relationships in China;
• Reporting on quality / inventory issues to relevant personnel at INTERVENE in the UK;
• Completion of other reasonable tasks that may be asked by Company Directors.
* ITI (Shanghai) is the organisation that manages INTERVENE’s commercial relationships with manufacturers in China;
